I have turned the temperature down to 80, why will my tub not get any cooler than 95?
This question is asked a lot during the hottest days of summer. The answer is in the manufacture of HotSpring hot tubs. These units are so well insulated that there is very little loss of heat. When the ambient temperature is in the 90's the small amount of heat created by the circulation pump will hold the temperature at this point even without the heater. Cooler water can be obtained by adding water or by venting the tub by propping the top slightly with a rolled up towel. Or if you really need to drop the temperature a few degrees quickly you can empty your ice bin into your tub.
I just drained and filled my tub and now the lights are flashing on my control panel and I have no heat.
This condition is usually caused by an air lock in the circulation pump preventing proper water flow through the heater. The most effective method that I have found to cure this problem is to force water through the plumbing to purge the air pocket. Begin by removing the filter from the grey standpipe and then removing the grey standpipe by turning it counter-clockwise. Place your garden hose directly into the hole and cup your hands around the hole forcing all of the water pressure directly into the plumbing. You should see a larger than normal amount of air coming out of the floor vent. Now reset the breaker and check operation before replacing the standpipe and filter.
I no longer see little bubbles from the screen in my tub.
This is usually caused by a clogged filter. Try removing the filter from the gray post and see if this brings the bubbles back. If this fixes the problem then you will need to either clean the filter thoroughly or replace the filter. HotSpring Spas recommends that you clean your filters once a month or more often for heavily used tubs.
How much does it cost to operate my new HotSpring hot tub?
There are several considerations that must be addressed to answer this question. First of all is the electrical expense. HotSpring hot tubs are unsurpassed in energy efficiency. Closed cell foam is sprayed into the cabinet when the tub is manufactured and a hard pour-on foam seals the bottom of the tub. This coupled with the thick foam cover, helps to maintain the temperature of the tub and keeps the electrical cost to below $10 a month on average. The chemical costs should range from $95 to $105 a year. All things considered you will not find a more cost effective way to melt away your stress at the end of the day.

I'm ready to get a new tub; will you take my old tub as a trade-in?
Because of their superior quality, HotSpring hot tubs hold their value for many years. Therefore, we will gladly accept your old HotSpring hot tub as a trade in and will offer a fair value depending on the condition and age of the tub at that time. We cannot, however, accept any other manufacture of hot tub as a trade-in. If so desired, we will remove your old tub, at no cost to you, regardless of manufacture at time of delivery of your new HotSpring hot tub.
Why do your tubs cost more than those advertised on TV for low, low prices?
For the same reason that a Lexus cost more than a go-cart. The difference is night and day in quality, functionality, and durability. Once you own a HotSpring Spa you will know why our motto is "Relaxation has found its ultimate expression". |
